Menzies Macau Honored with ISO 14001 Bronze Award for Outstanding Environmental Management

Recently, the ‘Macau Enterprise International Management Certification Commendation Ceremony,’ organized by the Macau Productivity and Technology Transfer Center, was held at the Lotus Hall of the World Trade Center. On that day, representatives from over 100 Macau companies gathered. To recognize Menzies Macau’s outstanding environmental management, the organizers awarded them the Macau Enterprise International Environmental Management Certification ISO 14001 Bronze Award.

On stage, Mr. Yip Wing Fat, President of the Macau Prosperity Promotion Association, presented the commendation certificate to the awarded company. Ms. Winnie Iu, Safety and Security Manager of Menzies Macau, accepted the award on behalf of the company.

This ISO 14001 certification highlights that Menzies Macau is a company with a comprehensive environmental management system, fully demonstrating their excellence in environmental management. It proves the company’s ability to achieve the expected outcomes of an environmental management system. Menzies Macau rigorously controls its operational processes, effectively preventing various negative environmental incidents or accidents.

Ms. Winnie Iu stated, ‘For a long time, we have been committed to optimizing our company’s environmental management practices and processes to align with the ISO 14001 international standard. We will continue our efforts to become a model for higher environmental management standards in the industry.’
