From March 12th to 14th, the World Cargo Symposium (WCS), organized by the International Air Transport Association (IATA), was successfully held in Hong Kong. This annual event is the largest and most influential gathering in the global air cargo industry. Representing Menzies Macau, Mr. Raymond Lo (Managing Director), Ms. Anabela Barros (Head of Commercial & Cargo Operation), Ms. Shirley Ung (Head of Planning), and Mr. Bill Pat(Manager of Cargo Services) participated in this prestigious symposium.

The WCS has been running successfully for 16 years. This year’s conference not only achieved record attendance but also delved deeper into industry values, providing diverse business insights and experiences for participating companies. During the four-day event, Menzies Macau engaged in important industry forums, including IATA Cargo Solutions Workshops, CBTA Center Seminars, and an E-commerce Forum. The main themes of this year’s World Cargo Symposium remain focused on sustainable, secure, and reliable aviation services. While guiding discussions on challenges and opportunities, the organizers emphasized the importance of cargo security checks for logistics companies.
