Recently, the Joint Maintenance Management Work Group (JMM) and the Greater Bay Area Civil Aviation Maintenance Industry Alliance visited Menzies Macau for inspection and discussion, focusing on Menzies Macau’s aircraft maintenance work and witnessing the leap in its maintenance capabilities.
The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), the Civil Aviation Department of Hong Kong SAR (HKCAD), and the Civil Aviation Authority of Macau SAR (AACM) have long been attentive to the development of the civil aviation maintenance industry. In March of this year, Menzies Macau joined the Greater Bay Area Civil Aviation Maintenance Industry Alliance and was appointed as a co-chair unit, aiming to create a new system for collaborative industry development. This marks the first inspection since Menzies Macau’s membership in the alliance.
During the symposium, Mr. Raymond Lo, Managing Director of Menzies Macau, briefly introduced the company’s overview. Mr. Louis Liu, Quality Certification Manager, also presented the certificates, licenses, and one-stop maintenance services offered by Menzies Macau’s maintenance unit. It was highlighted that Menzies Macau strictly adheres to safety guidelines, including monthly safety meetings (SAG), Menzies Safety Culture Week, and safety reviews within the Menzies Group, ensuring a safety-first approach. JMM experts and alliance members highly praised Menzies Macau’s safety measures.
Subsequently, the inspection team visited Menzies Aircraft Maintenance Department’s office and hangar. After the on-site tour, the team engaged in a seminar with Menzies Macau representatives, discussing industry-related issues in depth.
Menzies Macau’s Senior Aircraft Maintenance Engineers, Mr. Jiang Dajin, Mr. Zhao Zhenguo, and Mr. Jia Mingming, explained the specific technical measures and details related to aircraft maintenance. Menzies Macau provides 24/7 all-weather maintenance services for clients at Macau International Airport, offering professional and efficient technical support in areas such as airworthiness requirements, industry standards, and work procedures.
