Recently, Menzies Macau held a grand opening ceremony for Warehouse 2 (W2), where colleagues gathered to witness this significant milestone. The addition of W2 is one of Menzies Macau’s important construction projects this year, aimed at enhancing cargo capacity and better addressing the growing aviation business, making it highly meaningful.

During the inauguration, Ms. Anabela, Acting Managing Director of Menzies Macau, ceremoniously cut a suckling pig, symbolizing blessings for the smooth operation of the warehouse. Ms. Jane Chan, Senior Business Development Manager, and Mr. Bill Pat, Cargo Terminal Manager, jointly expressed their wishes: “May W2 handle cargo efficiently and further strengthen Menzies Macau’s cargo processing capabilities.”

In recent years, Menzies Macau has been committed to strengthening complementary infrastructure for air cargo development, focusing on improving cargo capacity, service quality, and efficiency. Ground handling capacity has also significantly increased.

The newly opened W2, along with Warehouse 1, covers a total area of approximately 8,800 square meters. This new facility effectively reduces cargo turnaround time and enhances the overall cargo handling experience. W2 is equipped with complete processes for inbound, inspection, and outbound cargo, aiming to become a professional-grade cargo warehouse for Menzies Macau.

The activation of W2 significantly boosts Menzies Macau’s cargo handling volume, laying the foundation for expanding more business routes in the future. This launch not only improves air cargo efficiency and industry development but also contributes to related sectors and regional economic progress. Ms. Anabela, Acting Managing Director of Menzies Macau, stated, “The establishment of W2 is excellent news for Menzies Macau, enhancing our ability to adapt to changing market conditions.”
