In response to the 43rd Macau Green Week, Mr. Raymond Lo and Ms. Anabela, representing Menzies Macau, participated in the event. Safeguarding the natural ecology of green waters and mountains is the responsibility and duty of every individual. Menzies Macau adheres to the concept of promoting conservation and love for greenery, actively engaging in Macau’s Green Week activities.
Organized by the Municipal Affairs Bureau, the 43rd Macau Green Week took place from March 16th to 24th. Themed “Inheriting Love for Green, Building a Better City Together,” this event aligned with the principles of World Arbor Day. Over 30 nature-based experiences and tree-planting activities were held during this week.
On March 24th, Menzies Macau representatives participated in the grand walk and tree-planting event at Seac Pai Van Country Park. The natural beauty of the park deeply moved them, inspiring active responses to environmental calls. Participants, including groups and residents, strolled through the forest, collectively planting a thousand saplings of red Bauhinia, camphor trees, kapok trees, false banyans, maple trees, rhododendrons, and holly.
On the same day, led by Menzies Macau management colleagues Ms. Li Wansze and Ms. Shirley Ung, female colleagues from Menzies Macau embraced the morning sun and took part in the “2024 Macau Women’s Sports Carnival” athletic event. The Director of the Sports Bureau, Mr. Pan Wing Kuan, and the President of the Macau Women’s Federation, Ms. Ho Ting Yee, attended the award ceremony.
The intense team competitions added to the vibrant atmosphere of fitness for all. The outstanding performance of Menzies Macau’s female colleagues during the carnival earned praise for their team.
